The Top 5 Songs You Gotta Hear Right Fucking Now! :-)

Hello Rockstars!

Today’s article is about some of my favorite songs that I have been listening to on repeat for awhile. All of these are pretty different from one another, but I think they are all amazing, catchy and incredibly special in their own way and I really hope you vibe with them as much as I do!

Today’s bands are: Requiem Core, The X-Flowers, Crimson Riot, Drowning Spree, and Artist TYMAY!

Enjoy! xoxoxox

1.Band: Requiem Core

Song: “Through the Raging Waters

Release Date: December 11th, 2025.

VMS Thoughts:

Requiem Core has an absolutely wonderful new album out called “Phases” and the song that I have really gravitated with so far is the album opener “Through the Raging Waters”, which talks about the personal struggles of mental health and depression, where you quite literally feel like your drowning sometimes. I know personally, I definitely have my moments where mentally life gets hard and I have felt these exact same things, which is maybe why I identify so much with this song.

The only reason why I bring that up with relation to this amazing rock ballad, is that this is what I love about music so much. How you can hear a wonderful song like this and it helps you with your own personal struggles. Knowing that other people feel that way from time to time really helps you not feel so alone, and I love Requiem Core for this gritty and beautiful song. With incredibly raw lyrics, solid musicianship and vocals that sting you to the core (no pun intended) I feel this song truly has something special and real. Thank you for being honest and really talking about your personal experiences. I know that’s not easy but I really respect this band for that. I am excited to see the next evolution of an already complex band, and I know for one I am definitely going to be playing this song on my constant rotation.

2. Band: The X-Flowers.

Song:”Tilted

Release Date: January 2nd, 2026.

VMS Thoughts:

The X-Flowers are back with a catchy new song called “Tilted” and I think it’s a wonderfully fun song about getting probably a little bit drunk, maybe having too much fun. (lol)
I think their music in general is always awesome, but I really do love the hook on this track.
I feel it’s definitely one of those songs that needs to be on repeat, or maybe on repeat while getting ready to go out with friends on a Saturday night. With their catchy lyrics, commanding drums and guitar, I feel this song is a wonderful next step in an already solid direction for these pop punk dynamos. I am excited to see the next direction they go as a band, but I know whatever it is, I will definitely be following a long for the ride.

3. Band: Crimson Riot

Song: “Cross The Line

Release Date: January 20th, 2026.

VMS Thoughts:

Crimson Riot is back with an amazingly catchy song about assholes and I am in love with it! 🙂

Their songs are always solid, but I love the punch this song packs. I feel we can all identify with that feeling of being used by people, until it finally ends up just being too much. I absolutely loved Crimson Riots 2020 album “It took an Apocalypse” and I feel this new song is a wonderful progression for them, and God it is catchy as fuck, I literally can’t stop listening to it. (lol) What I love about this band is how solid as musicians they are, up against the wonderful vocals, and excellent “fuck you” lyrics, this song is no exception. It’s catchy and deserves to be on every music list out there. I feel CR has really captured something wonderful, a very “lighting in a bottle”, which is hard to accomplish, but they pull it off effortlessly. if your not listen to this song on repeat you really need to right fucking now……..seriously, go right fucking now! (lmao.) I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Crimson Riot! They are a truly amazing band, with an incredibly killer sound!

I know on March 20th they have a new album coming out called “Third Time’s a Charm” so you can go to their website to reserve your copy at crimsonriot.com ! 🙂

4. Artist: TYMAY

Song: “Forward

Release Date: January 1st, 2026.

VMS Thoughts:

TYMAY is back after her wonderful single “Backseat Soliloquy” with another amazing track that feels like a cool breeze on a summer day called “Forward“.

With lyrics talking about the early stages of a relationship and the new adventure that entails when you meet someone new, but also talking about the classic struggle of “Where do I stand with you? Where are we going with this?” Which is why I love that she named the song “Forward”. Cause no matter what happens in life, at the end of the day all we can do is just keep going forward and whatever happens, happens. It’s such an incredibly real sentiment, and I love how her lyrics definitely expressed that feeling (more beautifully than I just did lol). I also love the sound production of the song. It perfectly captures that moment we have all had of chilling in your room, and really thinking about life and all it’s complexities, and I think that’s beautiful. I’m very excited to see what the evolution of TYMAY will be! I love everything I have heard so far and I am excited to keep delving deeper into this amazingly complex artist.

5. Band: Drowning Spree

Song: “Who Will I Be Without The Hurt I Hide?”

Release Date: January 29th, 2026.

VMS Thoughts:

After a wonderful debut with their electric and amazing song “February” Drowning Spree is back with another wonderfully tour de force song called “Who Will I Be Without The Hurt I Hide?”.

It’s a wonderful next chapter into the story of this band, the intensity with all their songs is excellent, but this track just really spoke to me. With painfully beautiful lyrics, incredible vocals (you can really feel the pain in her voice), up against the amazing musicianship of the band, I feel everyone really shines on this track. You can tell they have been playing together a long time and it’s evident in their chemistry which is unmatched. Especially my favorite part when she just starts guttural singing while the pounding of the drums and guitar come in full force to match that intensity. Honestly it’s so beautiful and extremely cathartic at the same time. I’m excited to see what other surprises Drowning Spree has in store for us, but for now i’m going to go listen to this masterpiece on repeat.
