Hello Rockstars! Today’s article is on some of my favorite bands that I have been watching for a while and I genuinely think you need to check them out! There is something truly magical about all these bands and I encourage you to go listen to all of their wonderful music!

1.Slowburn.
Why you gotta check them out:
I have a strong love and appreciation for the Indie Rock sound and SlowBurn has this in spades. It’s hard personally to put them in a box since everything I have heard by them feels pretty eclectic with each song, with a definite Shoegaze vibe as well (in my personal opinion). I love their songs “Hail Mary” and “Tense” which are both a very fast paced and commanding ethereal sounds that takes me on journey (from the teaser’s I have seen on their Instagram, I genuinely wish they would release both of these on streaming!)
However I can see why “Last Call” was released first on streaming. It’s an amazing rock ballad that really cuts you to the soul. I will be honest and say I’m not sure what the song is about, but the music was so painfully beautiful and took me on such an emotional journey in 2 minutes and 49 seconds that it just makes me keep coming back to play this amazing song on repeat. I can truly feel the emotion in this song. The pain, loss, whatever was going on in their life, they really let it shine through in this song. If you haven’t put this on your playlist right now I encourage you to do it right now.
I am really excited to see what the future holds for Slowburn. I feel they have something truly special and we have only scratched the surface of them as artists. They are definitely ones to watch!

Why you gotta check them out:
This indie rock band truly has something special. With their amazing musicianship, unrelenting drums and guitar, they really take me on an amazing journey where I just really hope the song never stops. With their vulnerable vocals and lyrics, amazing chemistry and stage presence they are seriously one of the best up and coming bands here in Vegas. I know I say that about everyone (lol) but honestly their music sends me on such a wonderful journey, that really speaks to me and I feel they truly have something special.
I love all the songs I have heard, but “For You” is one that really just sticks with me. As a life long fan of the indie rock sound, this song just checks all those boxes off for me: Amazing Vocals, Melody, Drums, and Guitar. I hope one day to hear a full EP or album of what they have to offer, cause I genuinely think they have something truly special. If you haven’t added this to your music playlist please do so now.
I am so excited to see what the future holds for The End Of All Things. I think they are already so crazy strong out the gate that I’m so excited to see the evolution of them as a band. They are definitely ones to watch.

3. ORO.
Why you gotta check them out:
Oro is one of the most interesting bands to me. I know they say they have an alternative indie / psych sound, but honestly I don’t want to pigeonhole them in general, and their new EP “Suspicious” is a testament to that fact. I love how that most of their music on their EP is Rock based, but then they do this very interesting 90’s inspired trip hop rap vibe on their last song called “My Eyes (must go blind)” but it’s still mixed in with their psychedelic sound.
I think this song is definitely my favorite on the EP. Not because it’s so wildly different than the rest of the album (which I love by the way!) but because of the musical landscape that they paint with this song and how brilliantly they showcase everyone on this song. They rap, they have the trip hop, still full instrumentation and to weave it all together is the painfully gorgeous performance by their violinist. Honestly, I could listen to an entire album of this vibe, it’s just so addictive and it hits all the right marks that I love about music.
I also encourage you to go see Oro live! They put on one of the most unique shows I have ever seen, and you truly don’t know what you are going to get with them, which makes every live performance even more exciting! I am so excited to see what the future holds for Oro! They are a one of a kind experience and if you are not following them on social media you are truly missing out.

4. Man of the Oasis.
Why you gotta check them out:
I have been a fan for a long time, right around the time of their song “Shannon’s Song” from 2024 and it has been amazing to see their evolution since then. They have always had a psychedelic desert surf vibe to their music, but in their new album “Season in the Sun“, it brings their music to a whole new level. It is still true Man of the Oasis, but it takes me on a surprising musical journey that I wasn’t expecting, especially with my favorite song “Night Rider“. They are so good at finding the right balance in their music and in turn makes for a wonderful journey into unknown depths of music and the wonderful minds of Man of the Oasis. I also greatly encourage you to see them live to get the full experience. Their live shows are like no other. I always walk away feeling all the emotions mixed into one show and one band, which is a huge feat in itself.
I am genuinely excited for this new album and also the future for Man of the Oasis. If you’re not following or listening to their music, please do it now. You won’t regret it.

5. Vesper.
Why you gotta check them out:
Vesper is a fairly new band to me, but what I have seen and heard from them so far truly blows me away. Lyrically, Musically and Vocally they are wise beyond their years and have an amazing chemistry in their live shows that is truly hard to replicate. With some incredibly beautiful songs like “Copy and Paste” and one of my favorite songs right now being “By and By” that hits all the markings of a standout song, and showcases their excellent lyrics, musicianship and vocals, I feel it is a wonderful highlight of this band. With their singers powerhouse vocals, and all of them being such incredibly strong musicians already I truly think Vesper is definitively one of the ones to watch and I am so incredibly excited to see the evolution of this already wonderful band.
