Musician: Ethan Schneider
New EP: “Shredding Symphonies”
Release Date: Late May/June
Details: What I’ve always appreciated about Ethan Schneider’s musicianship is not only his excellent guitar skills, that are well beyond his years, but also he tries to always bring something different to the table of heavy metal and rock music. I really don’t like to pigeonhole musicians, especially when you can tell they are influenced by many different genres, and he definitely falls into that category. You can tell his core is obviously metal, but with this EP, it’s going to be interesting to hear him branch out into other realms. If his new single entitled “Shredding Symphony No.1: Crux Mali (E Minor)” is any indication of what he has in store for us, it’s going to be a truly unique EP that I cannot wait to hear!

Band: Wrenched
New EP: “Headspill”
Release Date: April 20th, 2024
Details: Heavy Metal band Wrenched bring their explosive sound to a new EP that is sure to be on repeat for months. A standout track for me is “Psychosis”, which has a wonderful dark brooding and pulsating undertone to the song. On a whole, the whole EP is a wonderful journey that reminds you what heavy metal music should be. “Headspill” is now available on all streaming platforms.
Band: The Dusty Throttles
New Album: “Luck in Blue”
Release Date: April 22nd, 2024
Details: Country Rock Band “The Dusty Throttles” released a wonderful new Album called “Luck in Blue” that feels like a beautiful combination of self reflection, but also some good old fashioned boot stomping fun on the dance floor. The standout tracks for me are “Space Invaders” which is a wonderful pop rock vibe about love gone sour, and it’s catchy as hell. (Plus I’m always a sucker for Alien references, so there’s that. lol) and the song “Unsocial” which is about the pros and cons of social media and how it has impacted our lives, even though it’s a good upbeat song, it also has a melancholy vibe in his singing, it feels like he is yearning for simpler times, which who can’t relate to more real life interaction.

Musician: Mimi
New Album: TBA (as of May 2nd, 2024.)
Release Date: May 24th, 2024
Details: Singer-Songwriter, and Producer Mimi has created an amazingly hypnotic sound of smooth but commanding vocals, blended beautifully with an R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul and Pop landscape that takes the listener on a journey of love, loss, and learning what you truly want out of life versus what you think you need. With Single’s such as “Issues”, “Talk2me” and “Fussin” I feel Mimi knows exactly what she wants out of life, and has forged an amazing journey and I am so excited to hear what her upcoming album (out May 24th!) will have in store for us!

Band: Tyrants by Night
New EP: “The Voice in the Dark”
Release Date: April 22nd, 2024
Details: Heavy Metal Band Tyrants by Night have a new EP entitled “The Voice in the Dark” which is a combination of three songs from their first album , “Tyrants by Night”, “Judgement” and “Conclusion” (re-recorded and re-worked) and two brand new songs called “Heavens Die” and “Voice in the Dark.” I feel that “Heavens Die and “Voice in the Dark” are wonderful evolution’s to their sound; with intense fast thrashing metal that just makes me wanna start a mosh pit, all the while talking about topics that are incredibly important to them. I absolutely loved the first album, but i’m really excited to see the progression in their sound and think this is a wonderful step for an already wonderful band.

Band: Suburban Resistance
New Album: “SRV: Earth S.R”
Release Date: May 17th, 2024 (pre-order on IM Records)
Details: Punk Rock band Suburban Resistance new album “SRV: Earth S.R” promises to be a wild one! With songs like “Grinding Gears”, “Human Skull”, “Blood on Your Hands” and a wonderful love ballad (that still rocks) called “When I’m Gone”, the guys are definitely gonna take us on a one of a kind journey that only they can accomplish. They always manage to rock it out, keep it fun and interesting, all while staying true to who they are. I can’t wait for this album to come out, I’m gonna be rocking out to this for a long time.
