VMS:

When did you start writing and performing your music.
What’s your backstory and current lineup.

The line up now is:

BOWSER: GUITAR/VOCAL
BUBBA BASS : BASS/VOCAL
CHANCE: DRUMS

BOWSER: I started playing guitar at 13 years old started writing music at about 15..I was taught by a bass player from Torrance named Mark Williams. I use to ditch school to smoke and skate and play the guitar.

The band started 2 years ago me and Freddy the original drummer were in another project and I left to start my own thing and freddy came with me..Me and Freddy had really good chemistry and we begin looking for a bass player we met Ricky he had a place for us to jam and was a really good addition to Terror Attack and the journey begin..we split vocals Ricky would scream and I’d do all the other vocals ..

BUBBA BASS: I started writing and performing shortly after joining terror attack back in April of2024. The first time I put in any songwriting assistance was the single version of “Hardway”. I joined terror attack shortly after quitting my old band and got the part at the jump because instead of learning 3 songs I learned the whole catalog.

BOWSER: GUITAR/VOCAL

VMS:

What artist or bands inspire you and your sound.

BUBBA BASS:

My inspirations are mainly Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Motorhead, System of a Down, AFI and Rancid. All influences from these groups are derived mainly from the bassist in these bands because they have helped me expand my horizons and break the rules of the standard role of a bassist.

VMS:

What’s your writing process and inspiration for your lyrics.

BUBBA BASS: Not much inspiration with lyrics but music wise I write from a music theory standpoint and then jam the pieces that I like the most and turn it into a song.

BUBBA BASS : BASS/VOCAL

VMS:

I love your songs “In the Ghetto”, “Socially Incompetent” and ” Narcissist”. What is the inspiration or story behind these songs.

BUBBA BASS: That’s all from my bandmate Bowser, he’s the main songwriter of this band.

BOWSER: In The Ghetto is about things you would see growing up in the hood. And the reality of being there…

First verse In The Ghetto:

Murder rapes an robberies a tragedy it’s hard to see, city life in poverty with dope fiends an broken dream homeless tents, prostitute open your eyes an u will see watch ur back they’ll take ur life most people living with no heart…

SOCIALLY INCOMPETENT: Is about being an outcast and not wanting to be like everyone else and having confidence in it…Not fitting in and not giving a fuck about it. Knowing that it’s your one life and you’re gonna live it to the fullest even though people don’t understand you…

VMS:

Tell me about your upcoming Album you guys are working on!
What can we expect from the evolution of Terror Attack.

Bowser: We are going to have more melodic stuff, more breakdowns and lyrics you can yell at the top of your lungs at shows..we are crossing over into thrash on some of our songs but still punk don’t know what the future holds.

BUBBA BASS: The most I’ll say, because, we wanna keep the fans questioning and thinking to themselves of what will happen, is that there is a lot more instrumental work involved with this record, it’s gonna be a huge step from what the first record presented, but one thing I can promise is that there will be moshing to these new pieces.

CHANCE: DRUMS

VMS:

Which local artist would you like to work with and why.

BOWSER:

I’d like to do more stuff with John Feeney from Amercant Records, his bands; Lean 13, 5OD, Guilty by Association, they have been around for a longtime and match our energy. Also Blackpath Booking they get the biggest bands in town and never hit us up for shows.

BUBBA BASS: As much as we are growing bigger than local, slowly but surely, any local artist will be cool cause we always love giving back to the scene that has supported us for the past nearly 2 years of countless shows and amazing opportunities that have been presented to us.

I personally, couldn’t have been more grateful for the scene that has had our backs and has helped us grow so fast that people from the other side of the country, the world even, are reaching out to us and wanting us to come down to their part of town which is insane. There’s so much to look forward for this band.

VMS:

What’s your overall theme or message of your music.

Bowser: Be a diehard by definition and never let anyone get you down.

VMS:

Do you have a favorite song that you like to perform.

Bowser: SOCIALLY INCOMPETENT

VMS:

What do you want your audience to feel and experience at one of your live shows.

BUBBA BASS: I want my audience to have the time of their lives when they come to my shows every single time.

VMS:

What have been your personal pros and cons of being a band here in Las Vegas. What do you think the scene could improve on and what are your hopes for the future of the Vegas Music Scene.

BOWSER: CONS Unity people like to be divided and have a hard time coming together there’s so much power in coming together. Pros is there’s always shows and really good people in the scene that make sure there’s no BS at shows.

BUBBA BASS: As much as I don’t experience it now as I did before. Personally, I’ve definitely dealt with being in other projects and trying to book shows with venues that were extremely biased. So it was hard to get the name out there, but with Terror Attack, It is not the case.
